School Councillors

Welcome to our School Council Page,

The School Council meet in Mrs Curran's room and talk about ideas for making our school better. We usually meet twice per half term. In the afternoons we have Class Council meetings to talk about what the children would want. We also talk about any problems like the amount of equipment we have out at lunch time. After that meeting the Chair Person and the Secretary spoke to Mrs Pink. She agreed that we needed more equipment and we got some.

Recently we met to talk about what qualities we would like in our new Deputy Head Teacher. When we had agreed Mrs. Pink and the Governors put our ideas in the Advert for the job.

Since September we have talked about the volume of traffic outside of our school and our safety. We would like a zebra crossing. A few weeks ago Mrs Devine shared a plan from Rotherham Council for a zebra crossing so we are going to contact them to ask them to come into school to talk about this.

Each fortnight we set up the Attendance Shop with Mrs Devine. We help exchange the raffle tickets for the rewards and we collect the children from their classes.

Thank you for visiting our page!
